Jordan Barnes, rated the No. 20 inside linebacker in the country by Rivals.com, has become Michigan’s 11th commitment to the class of 2009, according to Rivals.
Barnes, a 6-foot, 225-pound prospect from Fort Wayne (Ind.) Homestead, chose Michigan over Alabama.
“It hasn’t completely hit me yet that I am going to be playing at the University of Michigan, but it will pretty soon,” Barnes told the Web site. “There have been a lot of great players to go through there and hopefully I can be one of them.”
