Michigan junior wide receiver Mario Manningham will not be charged for possessing three Vicodin pills during an April 25 traffic stop, Monroe County’s prosecutor said Friday.

The pills in Manningham’s possession were not prescribed to him, though he did have a prescription for the painkiller to deal with the effects of minor knee surgery in January, according to a press release issued Friday by Monroe County prosecutor William Paul Nichols.
