Just as Michigan seemed to be improving, health-wise, the Wolverines were smacked again by injuries.
The culprits remain familiar: tailback Carlos Brown sprain foot and receiver Junior Hemingway mononucleosis will miss Saturdays game against Illinois, U-M coach Rich Rodriguez said this afternoon.
Hemingways absence depletes an inconsistent receiving corps, a group that has yet to find its standout player, and without Brown, the package of quarterback plays he has attempted in games may not be limited or adjusted.
