Arizona snags Breaston
Steve Breaston thought he might be selected late Saturday during the first day of the NFL draft, probably in the third round.
But there were no calls.
Breaston, a former Michigan receiver and the Big Ten’s career leader in punt returns with 1,599 yards, went to bed undrafted.
Early Sunday afternoon, however, his future was determined.
“I was about to go get something to eat, and Arizona called me,” Breaston said in a conference call Sunday.
