In his heart, Detroit Lions receiver Roy Williams felt he should’ve been on the team from the beginning, but he’s still happy he’ll be making his first-ever visit to Hawaii.

Williams was added to the NFC’s Pro Bowl roster Friday after St. Louis Rams receiver Torry Holt bowed out for undisclosed reasons.

“It feels good,” Williams said. “I’m a prideful guy, and like I said before, I don’t think I’m the fifth-best wide receiver in the NFC in the first place. But to get a chance to go still is a privilege and honor.”
