Tigers up in arms, so Maroth may go

Maroth is not a Dave Dombrowski guy, either by skill (he is a finesse pitcher and Dombrowski is a power-arm fanatic) or by history (Maroth was here before Dombrowski). He missed most of last season with an elbow injury and has struggled to come back.
Now comes the question: Who goes where?
The best guess is that Miller and Robertson stay in the rotation, Durbin goes to the bullpen, and Maroth gets traded, probably to a National League team. But it’s only a guess. We don’t know if Robertson and Rogers are truly healthy, or if Miller can keep pitching well. And the Tigers might decide that Durbin has been too good to pull from the rotation now.
Whatever happens, Maroth does not seem to have a place on this team. That is unfortunate — he is one of the classiest athletes anywhere. But somebody has to go, and he is the most likely candidate.
