Tigers place Rodney on disabled list
The Tigers put reliever Fernando Rodney on the disabled list Saturday and called up Zach Miner from Toledo.
Rodney, suffering from bicep tendinitis, made 19 appearances and had a 1-4 record with a 4.71 earned-run-average. He pitched 21 innings and gave up 11 earned runs.
