For the second straight night, the Tigers loaded the bases in the second inning with two outs. This time around though, the Tigers capitalized on their chance, which resulted in a big inning. And it was a good thing, because the Tigers needed every one of those runs.
Curtis Granderson and Placido Polanco hit back-to-back two-run singles in the second for a 4-0 lead and subsequent 8-7 win over the Angels on Wednesday night at Comerica Park.
