Armando Galarraga’s first Major League start came last September for the Rangers against the Angels. It didn’t go so well. But Saturday’s outing against them did.
Galarraga continued to shine in his third start this season since being recalled from Triple-A Toledo two weeks ago. He kept the powerful Angels hitless through 5 2/3 innings and helped the Tigers to a 6-4 win before a sellout crowd of 42,068 at Comerica Park.
