The World Series rematch provided a little bit of a preview.
While Andrew Miller survived a rocky opening stretch in his first Major League start to throw six scoreless innings, the Tigers scored more runs Friday night against the Cardinals than they did in the entire World Series last October. The resulting 14-4 Detroit victory at Comerica Park provided a snapshot of where the respective league champions sit at this early point in the season.
