Inge, Rodriguez to alternate at catcher for Tigers

Brandon Inge caught Monday night against Cleveland, and Ivan Rodriguez is expected to catch tonight’s game against the Chicago White Sox.
Tigers manager Jim Leyland said the “every-other-day” alternating arrangement is something he is going to use indefinitely.
The main reasons for the move are his desire to see Inge catching on a regular basis, and his hope that “less is better” for Rodriguez, who is hitting .245 with one homer and 21 RBIs.
