Guzman clears waivers, outrighted to Erie

Freddy Guzman cleared waivers, and the Tigers have outrighted him to Double-A Erie.
The Tigers had already decided that Guzman wasn’t going to make the team, and they said that they sent Guzman to Erie because they want their younger outfielders (Brent Clevlen, etc.) to get the playing time at Triple-A Toledo.
The Tigers acquired Guzman from Texas in a December trade for Chris Shelton. Shelton cleared waivers last month and was sent out by the Rangers.
