Tigers left-hander Dontrelle Willis resumed his minor league rehabilitation assignment with Triple-A Toledo on Monday night, allowing five earned runs over 5 2/3 innings in the Mud Hens’ 6-5 victory at Charlotte.

Willis came within one strike of exiting the sixth with a one-run lead, but he surrendered three runs in the inning – all with two out. He finished with seven hits, three walks, three strikeouts and a no-decision.
