Kristian Huselius scored a goal and set up another in the Calgary Flames’ 2-1 victory over the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday night.
Calgary snapped a three-game losing streak by beating the Red Wings, who missed an opportunity to move past Nashville into first place in the Central Division and past Buffalo atop the NHL standings. The Flames are trying to hold off hard-charging Colorado at the bottom of the Western Conference playoff race.
Their nine-point lead was trimmed to four in a week, but the victory pushed it back up to six.
