The Ducks placed forward Todd Bertuzzi on waivers Friday with the intention of buying out the remaining season on his two-year contract. If Bertuzzi goes unclaimed, as expected, he’ll be an unrestricted free agent Tuesday, when teams can begin negotiating with free agents.
