Bertuzzi skips Wings practice with bad back
Todd Bertuzzi sat out Monday’s Wings practice with a sore back after not playing most of the second half Sunday.
Babcock was optimistic Bertuzzi will play in Tuesday’s Game 6 against Anaheim. But if Bertuzzi isn’t ready, Jiri Hudler will take Bertuzzi’s spot in the lineup.
“He’s (Bertuzzi) got spasms,” Babcock said. “He’s got something wrong with his back. He was feeling a little better here this morning. (Trainer) Piet (Van Zandt) chose to keep him out, but I think he’ll be ready (Tuesday).”
