Pistons 100, 76ers 77 (5/1/08)

The Orlando Magic could have made their flight plans to Detroit about three minutes into Game 6 here Thursday night.

The Pistons opened the game by forcing three straight turnovers, which Richard Hamilton turned into seven straight points. The Pistons soon had a 19-point lead, which they rode to a 100-77 series-ending romp over the 76ers.

“That team really feeds off their crowd, and coming in here, closeout game, we really wanted to take that crowd out of it early,” Pistons captain Chauncey Billups said. “We did that; they were as quiet as a church mouse.”
