McDyess was inadvertently hit in the face by the Sixers’ Andre Iguodala midway through the third quarter of Friday’s 95-75 loss and broke his nose.
MLive.com reported on its Web site that McDyess flew back to Detroit on Saturday morning and had surgery to set the break. McDyess will fly back to Philadelphia and is questionable for Sunday’s Game 4.
