Defensive end Trevor Anderson has transferred from Cincinnati to Michigan State.
He has enrolled in school and is expected to begin practicing this week.
Anderson, a 6-foot-2, 255-pounder who was named Cincinnati’s top defensive lineman last season, must sit out this season.
He also must pay his own way because Cincinnati did not release him from his scholarship. He had six sacks and 13 tackles for losses last season.
Anderson, who played for MSU coach Mark Dantonio at Cincinnati, will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.
