Michigan State got a pair of goals from junior Chris Mueller, a pair of goals and an assist from sophomore Tim Kennedy, and a 24-save performance from Jeff Lerg to defeat Ohio State, 4-1 on Friday night at Munn Ice Arena. The victory snaps a three-game skid for the Spartans, and improves their record to 6-0-1 at home this season and 7-6-1 overall, 5-4-1 in the CCHA. The Buckeyes are now winless in their last three games (0-2-1), and are 4-8-3 overall (4-5-2 CCHA).
