The consensus is that Mr. 23-68 is finished after this season. How could he stay? How could Ford not see the disaster, regardless of any paternal attachments to Mr. 23-68?
But what everybody’s missing in the rush to clean out Mr. 23-68’s office is that it is impossible to decipher the elder Ford’s thoughts. Logic doesn’t motivate his decisions. It never has. Loyalty and stubbornness inspire him more than cold data.
