So Shaun Rogers was a no-show for the start of the Lions’ offseason workout program.

No surprise here. It would have been a bigger surprise if Rogers had shown up on time Tuesday, eager to demonstrate he has bought into coach Rod Marinelli’s program.

Apparently all that baggage Rogers accumulated last season, mostly from being suspended by the NFL for four games for violating the league’s policy on banned substances, still is fully loaded and ready to carry into another season.
