Rogers-to-Denver rumors are premature

Contrary to several media reports, a trade that would send Detroit Lions defensive tackle Shaun Rogers to the Denver Broncos is not imminent.
While its true the Broncos have talked to the Lions about a possible trade, the Broncos are just one of several teams involved in those discussions. A source close to the team said the Lions will continue to negotiate up until Friday, the first official day a trade can be transacted. If the Lions dont get the compensation theyre looking for, theyll keep Rogers on the roster. The Lions are seeking at least a second- or third-round draft pick as compensation.
