Millen: Lions aren’t planning to trade Williams
Any trade talks involving Lions receiver Roy Williams are one way.
The Lions are on the listening end, not making the calls.
Williams is not being shopped in any trade talks, Lions president Matt Millen said Friday.
Williams has been the subject of trade speculation in Philadelphia, where the Eagles are seeking to give quarterback Donovan McNabb a big-play receiving threat.
“I’ll listen to any offer,” Millen said Friday. “I’ve said that I’ll listen to any offer for anybody. In the end, we want Roy Williams. That’s the deal — whatever the terms are.”
