When Detroit Lions head coach Rod Marinelli gets around to reshaping the team’s roster after the season, he’s going to add a little bit by bringing some new players in and he’s going to add a little bit more by sending some old players out.

It’s called addition by subtraction and Marinelli has said all season that he’s been evaluating his players because “not everybody” fits into his program.

As the Lions prepare for their season finale Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys, here’s an early look at some of the players who might stick around and a few others who might get broomed.
