The Lions are hoping to sign free agent linebacker Takeo Spikes before training camp. Players report Wednesday and begin practicing Thursday morning.
“I think there’s a chance if we can come to terms that we could get him before camp,†coach Rod Marinelli said today.
But Spikes apparently is also exploring other options.
