Lions switch preseason opponents
According to the Detroit Lions, scheduling difficulties have forced them to switch opponents for their first preseason game. Instead of hosting the Indianapolis Colts, the Lions will now host the Super Bowl champion New York Giants. The game will be played at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 7. The Colts will now play the Panthers in Carolina.
