Lions sign WRs Marcus Robinson, Cliff Russell
The Lions signed free-agent receivers Marcus Robinson and Cliff Russell . Terms were not announced. Robinson has 325 receptions and 43 touchdowns in nine pro seasons with Chicago, Baltimore and Minnesota. Minnesota released him on Christmas Eve last year. He had 29 catches and a team-high four TD catches. Russell has five catches in 21 games in four seasons with Washington, Cincinnati and Miami. He caught two passes in three games for Miami last year.
