Detroit Lions safety Daniel Bullocks will be out for the season because of a knee injury suffered in Saturday night’s exhibition game at Indianapolis.
Coach Rod Marinelli made the announcement after practice Monday afternoon. Tests revealed a torn anterior cruciate ligament in Bullocks’ right knee, and surgery will be performed when the swelling goes down, Marinelli said.
