After 7 consecutive losing seasons, Lions raising ticket prices

The Lions are raising prices for most tickets this year. The increase comes after seven consecutive losing seasons and amid an ailing Michigan economy. But the Lions say they need it to keep pace with the economics of the NFL.

They point out that this is their first price increase in three years - their first of this scale since Ford Field opened in 2002 - and project their average season-ticket price will remain below the league average.
