Central Michigan coach Kelly to stay put

Despite reports he was close to getting the Iowa State job, Kelly said he’s happy with his current position and is focused on the Mid-American Conference championship game.
“I feel that CMU is a great fit for me and I am excited to be the head football coach here,” Kelly said. “I am committed to CMU and looking forward to both our MAC championship game appearance this week and upcoming bowl game.”
