DETROIT (AP) — Central Michigan said Tuesday that it will play in the Motor City Bowl, becoming the first Michigan team to participate in the decade-old game.
The Chippewas (8-4) will be making only their third Division I-A bowl appearance and the first since they played UNLV in the 1994 Las Vegas Bowl. They have never won a Division I-A bowl game.
