6 Former Spartans Headed to NFL Combine; Linthicum Not Invited
Six former Michigan State football players are headed to the NFL scouting combine Feb. 22-28 in Indianapolis.
Tight end Brian Linthicum is not among them — despite playing in the Senior Bowl and being projected as high as a middle-round NFL draft pick.
Quarterback Kirk Cousins, wideouts B.J. Cunningham, Keshawn Martin, running back Edwin Baker, defensive tackle Jerel Worthy and safety Trenton Robinson are all combine-bound. (MLive)

Michigan State class of 2009 running back commitment Edwin Baker received an impressive honor recently when he was selected to play in the United States Army All-American Bowl. The game, which is held at the Alamo Bowl in San Antonio on January 3rd, will be broadcast live on NBC at 12 noon CST.
