Leyland knew he needed Berry on Thursday night. With three hits, two stolen bases and two runs scored, he turned what had been a stagnant Tigers offense into a run producer. Berry also turned Max Scherzer’s quality, if turbulent, start into his third straight victory with a 7-3 win over the Red Sox at Fenway Park. (MLB.com)
