Tigers 2, Royals 3; Boesch’s late heroics aren’t enough vs. KC

Behind a two-run home run from Brennan Boesch in the bottom of the eighth, the Tigers rallied from a two-run deficit. However, a Chris Getz infield single off Joaquin Benoit in the top of the ninth gave the Royals a 3-2 win in the series finale at Comerica Park. (MLB.com)
