Tigers shut down right-hander Jacob Turner due to tendinitis in his shoulder
Right-hander Jacob Turner has made three Grapefruit League appearances this spring. His fourth will not take place for some time.
Detroit Tigers head athletic trainer Kevin Rand said Wednesday morning that Turner has tendinitis in his throwing shoulder and will be shut down while undergoing treatment for it.
“Right now, the time frame is he won’t pick up a baseball for a week,” Rand said. “We’ll reassess at that point.” (MLive.com)
