Jimmy Howard will make his fourth consecutive start in goal Wednesday at home against Dallas because Chris Osgood hasn’t recovered from the flu. Osgood wasn’t able to practice Monday, a day after he skated with goaltending coach Jim Bedard and Kirk Maltby during the team’s day off Sunday.
Daniel Larsson was reassigned to Grand Rapids (AHL) after Saturday’s game. Coach Mike Babcock said they’ll see how Osgood feels Tuesday before deciding whether to recall Larsson.
