Lions get extension to sell remaining tickets, avoid blackout of Vikings game
The NFL granted the Detroit Lions a 24-hour extension to sell out their game against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday at 1 p.m.
The team announced that there are 1,700 tickets remaining, which would have to be sold by 1 p.m. on Friday.
However, the league will only grant an extension if there’s a strong likelihood the team will sell out.
